Do-it-yourself natural fruit spray?

My current bottle of natural spray for cleaning produce has come to an end and I thought I might give making my own a try.  I found this recipe.  Have you tried making your own cleaning supplies?  Any suggestions?

I have made all purpose cleaner that is half distilled water, half vinegar, and a glug (very scientific proportions, I know) of Dr. Bronners castille soap. Works great! http://www.drbronner.com/DBMS/LS.htm

I use the same soap with distilled water in a foaming hand soap bottle as hand soap refills. (Buy a foaming soap, use it up, then refill with almost all distilled water plus a glug of Bronners.) I like the peppermint and almond scents best.
